Sydnie is kicking off a major new tour this autumn, with Sydnie Christmas – My Way tour starting in Gateshead on 5 October 2024, and then playing 14 dates across the UK including London’s Aldwych Theatre on 20 October 2024, plus Canterbury, Portsmouth, Nottingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, Salford, Birmingham, Cambridge, Bath, Southend, Basingstoke, Oxford, and Liverpool.
The tour will include some of Sydnie’s favourite and most meaningful songs, including her spellbinding renditions of Over The Rainbow, My Way and Tomorrow from Britain’s Got Talent. At the Final of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent on Sunday 2 June 2024, the 28 year old singer from London sang a moving version of ‘Over the Rainbow’ from The Wizard of Oz.
Her powerhouse performance was enough to win Sydnie the public vote – and the ultimate BGT prize, including £250,000 in cash and a spot on the bill of the 2024 Royal Variety Performance.
Sydnie Christmas has always dreamed of being a professional singer, training at the D&B Academy of Performing Arts in London, graduating in 2014. Sydnie was part of the cast of Starlight Express in Bochum, Germany for years, and the show became a huge part of her life.
A Sydnie Christmas album – also called My Way – is coming out on 20 September 2024.
Sydnie is also set to star in her first panto this Christmas, with playing Fairy Christmas in a brand new production of Sleeping Beauty at the Orchard West Theatre in Dartford, Kent, from 14 December 2024 to 5 January 2025.
